Welcome to the Owl Room!

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am extremely excited that your child will be in my classroom this year. Your child is going to learn so much in Kindergarten. I look forward to getting to know you and your child. I would like to share a little information with you.

My name is Kerri Stanford, and this is my fourteenth year of teaching at Berrien Primary School. I have taught Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. I was born and raised in Berrien County. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Valdosta State University (VSU) in December 2009 in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master’s Degree from Walden University in Mathematics in grades K-5 in December 2011 and my Specialist Degree with a major in Early Childhood Education through the University of West Georgia in July 2019. I have three wonderful children. My son, Doug, is a weight training and football coach at Tift County High School. I have twin daughters, Daphne and Danielle. Daphne teaches 3rd grade at Northside Elementary School and Danielle teaches Pre-K at Berrien Primary School.

I believe education is a very important aspect of a child’s life. I am interested in learning about my students, especially things that will help me better meet their needs and assist in their learning development. I will do everything that I can to ensure your child’s happiness and success this school year while having fun at the same time. I look forward to meeting the needs of every child while fostering a friendship along the way. Please feel free to call, e-mail, or send a note if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year.
