Our school was very fortunate to have Mrs. Jo Nan Pierce Holbrook (author) and Mrs. Deborah Raines (illustrator), of “Sweetie and the Hippity Hoppity Day”, visit us!! They were very excited about sharing their book and the sweet tale of how Sweetie the Rabbit took her friend H.T. the Turtle on a hippity hoppity adventure! Students had to hold on as rocks flipped and dirt flew when Sweetie and H.T. searched for gold treasure! The friends made us laugh along the way, but in the end, the two found a true treasure that was with them the whole time!
