Our school was very fortunate to have Mrs. Jo Nan Pierce Holbrook (author) and Mrs. Deborah Raines (illustrator), of “Sweetie and the Hippity Hoppity Day”, visit us!!  They were very excited about sharing their book and the sweet tale of how Sweetie the Rabbit takes her friend H.T. the Turtle on a hippity hoppity adventure! Students had to get ready to hold on as rocks flipped and dirt flew when Sweetie and H.T. searched for gold treasure!
