Welcome to the Berrien Primary School Family!

At BPS we meet the needs of the whole child by providing a wide variety of learning experiences.  Our top-notch teachers and support staff are a community of learners and strive to plan and implement lessons that are engaging and meaningful.  As our motto states, we are “Building Prepared Students!”.

As a Title I School, we have received additional funds that have enabled us to reduce class sizes by hiring additional teachers and support staff, purchase research-proven software and access to online educational programs, and technologies that enhance intervention initiatives.

Partnerships with our community stakeholders, especially parents and guardians, are key to the success of our students and our school. From helping students academically to reducing the number of absences, parent involvement is an integral part of our School-Wide Plan (SWP) for improvement. We invite parents to actively participate in Parent & Family Engagement activities, parent nights, SWP planning meetings, conferences, and other school functions.

Parent and community input surveys are often placed on our website or through our school Facebook page to gather information aimed at continuous improvement. Please be sure to like our page on Facebook for important announcements, event promotions, and helpful parent tools shared by our school counselors. Additionally, you can always find pictures of exciting classroom learning activities on the Berrien Primary School Facebook page.

We encourage you to contact us at anytime to address any needs you may have.  Thanks for partnering with us to help your child succeed.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Nicole Richbourg, Principal

Mrs. Perryn Vickers, Assistant Principal
